教学目标:

一、知识目标:

     1.  能正确理解、掌握对话内容,并能准确朗读。

     2. 能正确听、说、读、写单词:dancereaddrawsingplayswim

句型:I/We/They like...“ He / She likes...

     3. 在掌握重点句型的基础上,通过本课学习培养学生的语言实际运用能力。

    二、能力目标:

1.       运用游戏等方式熟练掌握学到的新单词dancereaddrawsingplayswim

2.       在游戏和活动中运用句型”I/We/You/They like...” “He/She likes...”

3.      通过学习如何使用英汉词典的微课,学习如何使用英汉词典查找”also”以及其他补充词汇的意思和用法并学会总结。

    三、情感目标:

1.       将英语和日常生活紧密联系起来,让学生热爱说英语,热爱交流。

2.       让学生明白爱好会让我们的生活变得五彩缤纷。

 教学重点、难点

1.      学生能够理解故事内容,并初步朗读课文,做到语音、语调准确。

2.      通过学习如何使用英汉词典的微课,学习如何使用英汉词典查找”also”以及其他补充词汇的意思和用法并学会总结。

3.       学生能够学习和掌握句型“I/We/You/They like...”“He/She likes...”的用法。

4.        学生能够将本节课所学习的词汇灵活地运用到实际的语言表达中。

教学过程:

Step  1   Free talk and lead in (  6 min  )

1.      Everyday English.

2.      Sound time.

3.      I’m your English teacher this term. Do you want to know more about me?

4.      ( Show my information card) This is my information card, you can see my information. For example, my favourite colour is (red). I like summer best. Why? Because I have a long summer holiday, I can do many interesting things I like. But do you know my hobbies?

5.      “hobby” is a new word. When we meet a new word , we can use the dictionary. How to use a dictionary? Let me show you a tip.

6.      Read the tip on P90.

7.      “hobby” means 业余爱好. Its plural form is “hobbies”.

8.      Show and read the title “Unit 4 Hobbies”.

Step   2   Story time

A) Before reading

1. How can we talk about hobbies, we usually use “ like doing”.

2. Look and guess my hobbies. Ss: You like … T: Yes, I like reading books, I read books for an hour every day. I have a lot of books at home. I like growing flowers too. I grow and water my flowers after class. I also like playing the Chinese zither, I often play the Chinese zither in the evening. It is great fun.

3. Do you know more about hobbies?

4. Read and learn.   sing---singing   dance----dancing   read----reading   draw----drawing

  run--- running   swim---swimming  skate----skating  play---- playing  watch ---watching

 play football / basketball / volleyball / table tennis;  play the piano / violin / guitar

 watch TV / CDs  / cartoon / films

5. Think and say: What are your hobbies? What do you like doing? Please talk about your hobbies?

  Ss: I like …

B) While reading

1. Just now, we talked our hobbies? Look, Mike is coming, he is talking about he and his friends’ hobbies too. Let’s go and have a look.

2. Watch and answer: Whose hobbies is he talking about?

3. Answer and stick the blackboard.

4. Talk about Mike’s hobbies.

  (1) Read and say: What does Mike like doing?

 ( He likes playing basketball and football. He likes drawing.)

  (2) Read and learn: be good at

  (3) Read and judge: Which one is better?  And why?

A. I can play basketball, but I’m not good at it. 

B. I can play basketball, but I can’t play basketball well.

  (4) Show the tip1: 表达时,句式灵活,避免重复。

  (5) Read and complete: Mike’s hobbies.

5. Talk about Liu Tao’s hobbies.

(1) Read and say. Look at the pictures and say: What are Liu Tao’s hobbies?

    ( He likes playing football. He likes play table tennis, too.)

(2) 自读L iu Tao的爱好,找出He likes playing table tennis too. 的另一种说法。

 (3) Let’s read and learn: also, alsotoo都表示,都用于肯定句中。通常情况下,also放在句中,too放在句尾。

 (4) Show the learning Tip2: 表达时,用词求变,切忌雷同。

6. Talk about Yang Ling’s hobbies.

  (1) Listen and answer : What are Yang Ling’s hobbies?

( She likes reading stories. She also likes playing the piano. )

  (2) Read and learn: story – stories, piano (pig, apple, no)

(3) Read and find 读段落,找出能证明Yang Ling喜欢阅读的句子。( She has a lot of books. )

(4) Think and say: 你能在横线上填上一句话证明Yang Ling喜欢弹钢琴吗?

  (She plays the piano every day.  / She has piano lessons on Sundays.  / …)

(5) Read competition. 四人一组朗读,看哪个小组读得最好。

6. Talk about Su Hai’s and Su Yang’s hobbies.

(1) Read and answer: Who is Su Yang? Who is Su Hai? How do you know that?

(2) Answer and say: Su Hai likes dancing. Su Yang likes watching films. They both like swimming.

(3) Read and learn: film, bothe

(4) Which one is better?  A. Su Hai and Su Yang are twins. Su Hai likes dancing. They both like swimming. Su Yang likes watching films.  B. Su Hai and Su Yang are twins. Su Hai likes dancing. Su Yang likes watching films. They both like swimming.

(5) Show and read:  Tip 4 : 表达时,按照顺序,层次分明。

(6) Try to retell Su Hai’s and Su Yang’s hobbies.  

Here are... They are ... Su Hai likes ... Su Yang likes ... They both like ...

7. Summary.

  We talked about the children’s hobbies, next let’s read with Mike.

8. Read the whole story with the computer.

C)  After reading

1. Let’s retell.  任选一个角色,试着用第三人称复述吧!

2. Let’s think: What does Tim like doing? How do you know that?

(Tim likes drawing. Mike says ‘I usually draw in the park with my brother Tim.’.)

3. What do you want to say about their hobbies?

4. Try to say your and your friends’ hobbies.

I like...(I am good at it.)  I also like... (I usually...)

This is my friend...He / She likes...  (He / She likes...too. He / She often...)

Show the tips:  Tip  1. 表达时,句式灵活,避免重复。      2. 表达时,用词求变,切忌雷同。

                  3. 表达时,展开联想,适当扩充。  4. 表达时,按照顺序,层次分明。

           Step  4  Homework

1. Listen and read ‘Story time ‘five times.

2. Write down the hobbies you talked about.
